Park Press celebrates a tradition of quality printing and mailing services. As a family-owned business, the history of our company spans more than 48 years. Our founding father, Alonzo Kallemeyn developed the Park Press philosophy - to never compromise quality service. He started in a garage in the small farming community of South Holland, IL. but quickly outgrew those humble beginnings. In the early 60’s he started a series of community papers, requiring the addition of high-speed web offset newspaper presses. These presses became revolutionary vehicles in the proliferation of community newspapers. An early focus was on providing local publishers of newspapers, catalogs, books & Bibles tremendous cost savings with these high speed printing and binding lines.
Today we service several hundred premier companies around the country with the same old fashioned craftsmanship and friendly service we built the company on. We’ve recently completely retooled our prepress, press and bindery equipment to offer the next generation of quality, automation and workflow integration that our customers require. Yet, this business is still a detail business and we’ve become masters at making sure the job’s right before we print.
